KOTJ Radio | Episode 39: Cuttooth

CuttoothNick “Cuttooth” Cooke first came to my attention with his truly stunning collaboration with King Midas Sound’s Kiki Hitomi on the track ‘Old Tape Machine‘. Cuttooth is essentially a hip-hop producer, but in the loosest possible terms. seb wildbloodHelming his own Church Records and releasing music on Kerri Chandler‘s MadTech Records are two sure signs that Seb Wildblood (nee James Tittensor) is going to be around for a while. Initially, I wasn’t totally sold on Trap, but Aquadrop (whose “Landscapes…” EP on Seclusiasis sent me giddy recently) has put together just under half an hour of some of the finest Trap cuts going, blending them effortlessly with dubstep and even some trance.
