It’s been some time since our last podcast, but this new mix from Jason Burns should more than make up for the lack of recent tapes.
On top of his solo EP on Kastle’s exemplary Symbols, Jason Burns has been exceptionally busy this year with collaborative records for the label with Kastle and Brent Still Life as well as a Symbols mixtape and mixes for The Chemistry Magazine, Keep On Repeat and Smog. With this kind of work rate, the laws of probability alone make success a sure thing for the up-and-coming producer.
As is the custom of the day, there are several Jason Burns originals scattered throughout, as well as
tracks from Jim E Stack, French Fries, Krampfhaft, Sleepyhead and a collaborative track with Symbols boss Kastle. Keen followers of the Symbols crew will recognise several tracks from his recent ‘You Should Know’ EP on Symbols, including the titular track and ‘Your Love’.
