A few months back we brought you news that the Vampire Weekend’s Chris Baio had started producing some really rather lovely electronica, under the simple moniker Baio. Well, now we have news (via his Facebook page, which I’m sure is a damning indictment of something) that he’s giving away a free EP.
The double A-side freebie, entitled ‘The Silent’ / ‘New You’, follows the success of his three-track debut ‘Sunburn’. Both records were released on Greco-Roman.
This new release comes ahead of some select live dates he’ll be playing in the U.S., Canada and Mexico:
