For someone with such a staggeringly low output, Joe is a highly regarded producer in the post-dubstep arena. With only three singles and the track ‘Twice’ emerging on the ’116 & Rising’ compilation last year, Joe has seemingly perfected the art of “treat ‘em mean, keep ‘em keen’.
Artists like Zomby and Burial have built their careers on anonymity, garnering more attention than if they’d plastered every press release and Facebook page with pictures of themselves. Understandably then, the news of a new release from Joe has been met with nothing short of rabid enthusiasm from the bass community.
‘MB’ / ‘Studio Power’ will be released on 7 September on Untold’s Hemlock imprint.
