Julio Bashmore‘s nascent Broadwalk Records have announced their next record will be a 12″ single from Zed Bias under his Maddslinky alias. From the sound of things it’s somewhat of a departure from Broadwalk’s first release, Bashmore’s phenomenal, slow-slung classic ‘Au Seve’, bringing in elements of tech house into the downtempo, minimal mix.
Expect sirens floating in the distance, a persistent tech-house throb and lots of warm, full-bodied bass carrying the clipped samples along. I’m told by the internet hivemind that a second version of this track exists and that it’s even better, but I’ve yet to hear that so who knows?
