As ever, Chicago’s Chrissy Murderbot has been incredibly busy lately, even more than usual. First we got a brand new EP on Halocyan and now we’re being treated to a new track on Rob Booth’s impeccable Electronic Explorations compilation.
The new track, ‘Fuzzy’, could only really be described as ambient-jungle-juke or something. Delightfully, drawing together the full spectrum of Murderbot’s musical history, from harsh jungle snares and dancehall samples to jittery tom toms and deep house synth washes – it’s all in there.
