Dub techno legend Deadbeat (aka Scott Monteith) has announced he will be releasing his new album on Kompakt sub-label BLKRTZ. The eight-track album (shouldn’t that be a mini-album or EP?) has been imaginatively titled ‘Eight’.
We’re promised the work will be more intense and powerful than anything he’s produced over the last 13 years and with plenty of “full-spectrum bombast”, whatever that is.
The new album was recorded in his brand new studio in Berlin which he’s already endowed with new Moog and Prophet 600 synthesizers. And as we all know, Berlin + Moog = Techno.
