What with all the delirium, elation and tedium in the weeks surrounding the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, a lot of people might have missed the release of this little beauty. It’s called ‘Iron Trees’ and sees BD1982 make his B.YRSLF debut with his trademark brand of disfigured bass music.
Undeniably one of the busiest producers in bass music, apart from releasing records on Starkey & Dev79′s Seclusiasis, he also owns his own Tokyo-based Diskotopia which released ‘VHS Nite’ and a collaborative EP with A Taut Line. He is also a mainstay at Goth-Trad’s popular ‘Back To Chill’ parties in Tokyo.
Initially released as a Juno exclusive, you can now grab your copy from iTunes, Beatport and Boomkat. Just in case you’re not entirely convinced, you can stream the whole EP below or download ‘Cities’ below that.
