With his last EP ‘Ambush’ having already sold out, it seems Last Japan is on course for stratospheric success in 2012. His new EP ‘East’ looks to cement this trajectory with a jaw-dropping collaboration with former Roll Deep member Trim.
Trim’s style was marked out almost as soon as Roll Deep burst onto the scene all those years ago. His distinctive vocals and knack for a metaphor set him apart from his thuggish, self-congratulating contemporaries in grime. So it seems only natural he team up with Last Japan, an artist known for his deep bass drones and atmospheric instrumentals.
