Following on from the huge success and critical acclaim of Synesthesia #1, Theo Deville and the gang at Senseless Records have compiled a follow-up. The six-track collection features original tracks from Mak & Pasteman, JTRP and NKC on a limited edition (250) vinyl with hand screen printed artwork.
The first volume – which featured tracks from Rossi B & Luca, Phantom and KOTJ contributor Venice Calypso – was all based around the theme of the sense of smell. Volume two, I’m told, will be based around sight which is “all about looking forward so three of the best new bass music producers have been drafted in”.
You may already recognise Mak & Pasteman’s ‘Void’ which, as well as being the toast of blog-town, has already been playlisted by BBC Radio 1′s Bobby Friction. You can listen to ‘Errthing’ by NKC below before you buy it (if you’re lucky, of course). If that wasn’t exciting enough, volume 3 will feature Walter Ego, Lenkemz and Poirier.
