Polish newcomer Umba has been making considerable waves recently with his slightly off-kilter take on bass-driven Techno and those oh-so-coveted arpeggiated synths. His new EP ‘Not Too Young’ amalgamates these different elements, forming a collection of bouncy Techno and House punctuated with dirty great slabs of bass.
To sweeten the deal, Umba has made one track ‘Acid Rain’ available for free download. Disarmingly simple in its concept, ‘Acid Rain’ raises itself above the parapet with crisp drum patterns and a menacing bassline that swells and groans with the threat of attack constantly at the back of the listener’s mind.
