In an effort to draw out the season of giving, London-based producer Jamie Grind has put together a collection of as yet unreleased tracks called ‘Free Tracks’. The release comes hot on the heels of some outstanding 2011 releases on Fortified Audio and Infrasonics.
This may well be the first free EP of 2012 (probably isn’t but I’ll be damned if I’m going to check my facts) and it’s a doozer. Four tracks of rattling basslines and almost-Footwork drum patterns comprise the new EP.
If his current trajectory is anything to go by, this is only the beginning for Jamie Grind in 2012. It should be noted this is his second EP of the year, so expect at least another 19 EPs and 4 albums this year.
