The great Dane that is Trentemøller has announced the arrival of two incredibly special remixes from German beat-monkeys Modeselektor and the Grand Moff of House Andy Weatherall. The new tracks (which you can listen to below) will form part of ‘Reworked/Remixed’, a collection of remixes of Trentemøller tunes as well as his take on other artists.
As you would expect, Weatherall’s version is the highlight as very danceable guitars are brought into the bewildering mix. That’s not to rubbish the collection, that’s like saying The Godfather’s shit just because Godfather II is better.
Anyway, the remixes of Trentemøller are taken from his recent album ‘Into The Great Wide Yonder’ and inlude efforts from UNKLE, Efterklang among others. The double CD and double vinyl versions can be acquired from your local Amazon. In the mean time, stream the first disc below.
