Dub Gabriel teams up with The Spaceape for new single

I feel the name Dub Gabriel is one that should surely be careering through countless DJ sets, playlists and recommendations. Quite right too, this latest track ‘Is This Revolution’ has been tearing up dancefloors far and wide, utilising The Spaceape’s vocals to propel this track into the same level of wonderment as his the latters work with Kode9.

His work as Dub Gabriel has made him infamous among the global Bass community, working with a bizarre range of artists such as MC Zulu, 77Klash, Michael Stipe, Jahdan Blakkamoore and Yo! Majesty. As Jajouka Soundsystem he recently worked with Bachir Attar (of the Master Musicians of Jajouka) and David J (Bauhaus/Love & Rockets).

The A-side is a politically charged track “highlighting the dilemma facing our global society as people take to the streets striking out against hunger, poverty, war, government corruption and the rise of corporate cultural hegemony” and is backed up by the more soulful call to arms ‘These Times’.

The single is out now on Destroy All Concepts, you can grab it from all the usual places.
