More news of Onra’s Chinoiseries Pt. 2

French Hip-Hop producer and sample conjurer Onra (aka Arnaud Bernard) recently announced he would be releasing a follow-up to 2007′s glorious Chinoiseries. The new LP continues the exploration of old vinyl records from and Vietnam and China, blending traditional Chinese and Vietnamese music with Hip-Hop. And he’s very generously offered up a preview of the album.

Stream Joker’s new album in full

Preview a collaboration between Silkie and Swindle

Both Swindle (pictured above) and Silkie have been mainstays in their respective scenes for a while: Swindle has a solid reputation within the Grimier circles of music, producing for the likes of Wiley, Ghetto and Footsie as well as releasing his own records through Planet Mu, it should also be noted he was a founding member of Butterz; Silkie on the other hand has been generally associated with Dubstep, with collaborations with the likes of Skream and Mizz Beats under his belt. On top of that he has released two albums on Mala’s Deep Medi label.
