Well, Venezuelan-born beatmaker Cardopusher‘s been a busy little bee lately with not one but two EPs out soon. The first EP, ‘Instant Loving’, is already out on UK-based label Frijsfo and the second, an 80s-inspired Electro-romp entitled ‘Goldo State’ is scheduled for a mid-October release on Iberian Records.
Both EPs are rather different from his Tropical-inspired productions of late: ‘Instant Loving’ is a bass-oriented collection, taking cues from Electro and rave; whereas ‘Goldo State’ is a package that seems to draw inspiration almost exclusively from the 80s. I’ve yet to hear it so I literally have no idea whether that’s a good thing or not.
To mark the release, Frijsfo have offered up a track that’s not on the EP for free download. You can grab the unreleased track ‘Reinforce’ below and then stream ‘Goldo State’ here.
